The URA envisions Jurong Lake District (JLD) as the largest mixed-use business hub outside the city, promoting urban sustainability, innovation, and the growth of businesses, homes, and communities around Jurong Lake and Jurong Lake Gardens.
A 6.5-hectare site, zoned for mixed use, can be developed up to 365,000 sqm, with at least 1.57 million sq ft allocated for offices and up to 1.79 million sq ft for residential use, yielding around 1,700 private homes. An additional 786,000 sq ft will be for retail, entertainment, and community spaces. The project will be developed over the next 10-15 years.
